A miniature medal bar, measures 130 mm (w) x 60 mm (h - ribbon to base of medals), weighs 36.05 grams, two angled pins on the reverse, comprising eight decorations:
- A First War Victory Medal, in bronze gilt, measures 18.5 mm (w), light wear, original ribbon, very fine.
- A Sons of the American Revolution (SAR), in bronze gilt, measures 16.1 mm (w), original ribbon, extremely fine.
- A General Society of Colonial Wars, in bronze, cross featuring a fleur de lis on each arm, reverse marked D&C and 10Kt, measures 22.0 mm (w), original ribbon, dark patina, very fine.
- A Veterans Corps of Artillery of New York, in gold and enamels, reverse plain and marked D&C, measures 16.1 mm (w) x 23.2 mm (h), original ribbon, in very fine condition.
- A Medal of the Military Society of the War of 1812, in gold and enamels, superimposed eagle on the obverse, measures 14.3 mm (w), original ribbon, light wear, remains in extremely fine condition.
- A Sons of the American Revolution, in Gold and enamels, surmounting eagle, edge marked 14301, the edge of the eagle is marked 14KT and J.E.C & Co, measures 17.9 mm (w) x 29.0 mm (h), original ribbon, enamel damage to reverse medallion, in very fine condition.
- A Society of Colonial Wars, in Gold and enamels, measures 14.5 mm (w), original ribbon, enamels intact, in extremely fine condition.
- A Colonial Order of the Acorn, in silver gilt and enamels, monogram suspension, measures 19.9 mm (w) x 33.0 mm (h), original ribbon, very fine condition.

- A New York State World War I service medal, in bronze gilt, original ribbon, very fine.
- An 1876 Centennial Legion Military Order Medal, in bronze gilt, reverse marked DIEGES & CLUSY NEW YORK, on original ribbon with five star devices, extremely fine.
- A General Society of the War of 1812 Badge, in 14K Gold and enamels, reverse plain, marked BB&B (denoting Bailey, Biddle & Banks) and 14K, measures 14.2 mm (w), enamels intact, original ribbon, in extremely fine condition.
- An 1883 Sons of the Revolution Medal, in 14K Gold and enamels, reverse marked BB&B (denoting Bailey, Biddle & Banks) and 14K, measures 13.2mm (w) x 19.5 mm (h), original ribbon, in extremely fine condition.
Accompanied by a small brass placard engraved MEDALS OF FRANKLIN MARION GENTRY II, two screwposts on reverse, fine condition.
Footnote: Franklin Marion Gentry, scientist and author of Manhasset, Long Island, New York, was born on March 10, 1898 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He married Violet Dewey Young on August 6, 1925 in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born on June 24, 1900 in Lexington. They had one daughter, Courtenay Dewey Gentry, born on January 18, 1931 in New York City. Franklin M. Gentry was the son of Franklin Marion Gentry I (1853-1904) of Kentucky and Helen Norton Harrison (1864-1933) of Georgia. The Gentry family in American began with Nicholas Gentry I and his brother Samuel who came to Virginia as British soldiers around 1677.
