United States. A 7th Army ADSEC Eisenhower Jacket

The classic Eisenhower Jacket with all original patches, as sewn during wartime, featuring the standard 5 button configuration with two breast pockets, each with matching buttons, dual brass collar discs, denoting army engineer corps, with left shoulder presenting the 7th Army patch, right shoulder presenting the ADSEC shoulder flash, above the Communications Zone - European Theater of Operations, with individual ribbon bars above left pocket as well as ruptured duck above right pocket (Honorable Service), with sterling silver "Marksman" qualification level with a rifle, interior in cotton with service number R-3863 and manufacturers label on interior pocket Minotola Clothing Co, Size 36s and dated 1944, extremely fine overall. 

Footnote: ADSEC, officially the Advance Section of the Communications Zone, was a military logistics unit active in the Second World War. It was the farthest forward supply unit in the US Army's European Theater of Operations (ETOUSA).[1] The section moved forward with the armies, established by the Communications Zone, the area directly behind the Combat Zone, in order to provide close support to soldiers in combat.
