Description

(Silver). Vintage. A round dish constructed of sterling silver. The obverse center of the dish features the bust of Queen Elizabeth II wearing a royal crown, encompassed by the inscription “SILVER JUBILEE ELIZABETH II 1977”. Around the central disc are various hallmarks, including the bust of Queen Elizabeth II, “PM”, a poppy, a lion passant, and “C”. The dish measures 130.40mm in diameter and weighs 129.6 grams. The dish is accompanied by a navy blue case with a push button latch for opening. The interior of the lid is of white fabric and bears the inscription “POBJOY MINT SUTTON SURREY ENGLAND” and the original certificate of authenticity. The case measures 175mm (width). A collectable dish in extremely fine condition.
