In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
A matching pair of highly ornate and extremely well crafted banners; Single-sided banner consisting of a silk front with embroidered coat of arms flanked by a lion and a unicorn, worked in gilt and silvered threading, hung from a brass fitting and mount, measuring 50 cm (w) x 45 cm (h), with silk having deteriorated over time, rich colouring, and in extremely fragile condition.
Footnote: Trumpet banners are ‘cast’ every five years and as they are double-sided, they can be split. Usually, the halves will be shared between the Commanding Officer and the Adjutant; because they are State (rather than regimental) banners, it will not be possible to determine if they were 1st or 2nd Life Guards or Royal Horse Guards.
Note: Due to the extremely fragile nature of this item, images of the back have been excluded. For further inquires regarding this item, please contact our customer support.
