Description

1) An Order of the Glory, Knight, Muhammad III as-Sadiq Bey (1859–1882). In silver, a ten-point star, mounted on a ten-point star base, the obverse centerpiece bearing the inscription for Muhammad III, measuring 74.8 mm (h) x 50 mm (w) inclusive of suspension, enamels intact, original ribbon, extremely fine.

2) An Order of the Glory, Officer, Muhammad III as-Sadiq Bey (1859–1882): In silver, a ten-point star in alternating green and red enamels, with three rays between each point, the obverse centerpiece bearing the inscription for Muhammad III, the reverse marked with an Arabic inscription, measuring 75.6 mm (h) x 49 mm (w) inclusive of suspension, enamels intact, original ribbon, extremely fine.

Footnote: The Order of Glory was a Tunisian honorary order founded in 1835 by Al-Mustafa ibn Mahmud the Bey of Tunisia. The order was awarded until the constitutional role of the Bey was abolished following 1957.
