(Orden Imperial del Yugo y las Flechas). Instituted January 27 1943 by General Francisco Franco. A neck badge consisting of a black cross with an arch in each quadrant creating a circle around the middle, the center features red enamelled arrows with a yolk inscribed CAESARIS CAESARI DEI DEO (To Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and to God what belongs to God), the reverse is plain, marked with a silver fineness of .915 and unknown SJ maker mark, measures 57.8mm (w) x 62.0mm (h), weighs 27.5 grams, suspended from a decorative ovular loop and worn on a red and black silk neck ribbon, enamels intact, light wear, a rare award in near extremely fine condition.
The Breast Badge of the order consisting of a black cross with an arch in each quadrant creating a circle around the middle with silver rays in each space, the center features red enamelled arrows with a yolk inscribed CAESARIS CAESARI DEI DEO (To Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and to God what belongs to God), the reverse presents a decorative pin with dual stays, marked with silver mark and unknown SJ mark, measures 70.9mm (w) x 71.0mm (h), weighs 49.2 grams, enamels intact, light gilt wear, a rare award which remains in extremely fine condition.
Accompanied by a miniature of the order in the form of a boutonniere pin, of silver gilt with black and red enamels, measures 16mm in diameter, in very fine condition.
