A super collection of awards and accompanying documents named to Aleksandr Sergeyevich Baydukov, who saw extensive combat service during the Great Patriotic War, and subsequently distinguished himself in labour service, consisting of:
A medal bar featuring four decorations, including:
1. An Order of Labour Glory, Type II, III Class, constructed of silver with enamels, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, the obverse consisting of a central cogwheel with rays emanating from the edges, overlaid by a raised inscription of “ТРУДОВАЯ СЛАВА” (“LABOUR GLORY”), surrounding a central raised factory defaced by a sickle and hammer, topped by a five-pointed red enameled star and situated above a wheat stalk wreath overlaid by a red enameled banner bearing an inscription of “СССР” (“USSR”), the reverse engraved with an award number of “345386”, and stamped with a mark of “МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР” for the State Mint, measuring 40.85 mm (w) x 47.19 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
2. A Medal for Battle Merit, Type II, constructed of silver with enamels, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a central raised inscription of “ЗА БОЕВЫЕ ЗАСЛУГА” (“FOR BATTLE MERIT”), topped by a red enameled inscription of “СССР” (“USSR”), and situated above a crossed rifle and sabre, the reverse stamped with an award number of “813402”, measuring 32.30 mm in diameter, demonstrating total loss of enamels to the obverse, in better than very fine condition.
3. A Second Medal for Battle Merit, Type II, constructed of silver with enamels, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a central raised inscription of “ЗА БОЕВЫЕ ЗАСЛУГА” (“FOR BATTLE MERIT”), topped by a red enameled inscription of “СССР” (“USSR”), and situated above a crossed rifle and sabre, unmarked, measuring 32.22 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.
4. A Medal for the Defence of Stalingrad, constructed of brass, on loop for suspension with a mis-matched ribbon for the Medal for the Defence of Leningrad, unmarked, measuring 31.98 mm in diameter, demonstrating some softening of features, in very fine condition.
All suspended from a 125 mm-long brass bar consisting of four overlaid pentagonal plates with a horizontal pinback, demonstrating minor to moderate wear of the ribbons, in very fine condition.

5. An award booklet for the Order of Labour Glory, constructed of a card stock binding with non-paginated interior pages, featuring a handwritten entry for the award with a correct issue number of “345386”, dated 22 December 1977, measuring 7.5 cm (w) x 11 cm (h), in extremely fine condition.
6. An award booklet for both Medals of Battle Merit, constructed of a card stock binding with paginated interior pages, featuring handwritten entries for two awards, one with issue number “813402” and one without an issue number, in addition to an entry for an Order of the Red Star with issue number “487575”, dated 27 July 1947, measuring 7.5 cm (w) x 10.5 cm (h), demonstrating moderate material fatigue, in very fine condition.
7. An award document for the Medal for the Defence of Stalingrad, constructed of off-white paper stock with multi-coloured ink, named to Baydukov and indicating that he served with 45th Artillery Brigade, 11th Artillery Division, dated 12 February 1943, measuring 14.5 cm (w) x 21 cm (h), demonstrating creasing and fatigue, in very fine condition.
8. An Order of the Patriotic War, Type III, II Class, constructed of silver with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a five-pointed and red-enameled star, overlaying a radiant starburst and pierced by a crossed rifle and sabre, bearing a central raised sickle and hammer, situated within a circular white enameled ring bearing a silvered inscription of “ОТЕЧЕСТВЕННАЯ ВОЙНА” (“PATRIOTIC WAR”), the reverse with a central threaded screwpost retaining an original backplate, engraved with an award number of “4490295”, stamped with a mark of “МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР” for the State Mint, measuring 44.36 mm (w) x 46.38 mm (h), weighing 43.3 grams, in extremely fine condition.
9. An Order of the Red Star, Type II, constructed of silver with enamels, the obverse consisting of a five-pointed red enameled star, overlaid by a central silver medallion bearing a raised Red Army soldier wielding a rifle, circumscribed by an inscription of “ПРОЛЕТАРИИ ВСЕХ СТРАН, СОЕДИНЯЙТЕСЬ!” (“WORKERS OF THE WORLD, UNITE!”), situated above a sickle and hammer, the reverse with a central threaded screwpost retaining an original backplate, engraved with an award number of “313902”, stamped with a mark of “МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР” for the State Mint, measuring 47.426 mm (w) x 45.82 mm (h), weighing 40.8 grams, demonstrating minor chipping and cracking to the enamels, in very fine condition.
10. A Medal for the Defence of Leningrad, constructed of brass, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon affixed to a pentagonal backplate with horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 32.08 mm in diameter, in better than very fine condition.
11. A Medal for the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945, constructed of brass, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon affixed to a pentagonal backplate with horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 32.13 mm in diameter, in very fine condition.
12. A Badge for Excellence in Air Defence, constructed of brass with multi-coloured enamels, the reverse with a central threaded screwpost retaining an original backplate, the former maker marked with the logo of the Pobeda Plant, Moscow, measuring 35.86 mm (w) x 45.20 mm (h), weighing 16.6 grams, demonstrating minor flecking and tarnishing to the enamels and base metal, respectively, in better than very fine condition.
