Germany, Wehrmacht. A Mixed Lot of Breast Eagles

(Wehrmacht Brustadler). A mixed lot of Wehrmacht breast eagles, including:

1. A Heer NCO’s eagle, constructed of dark green wool, the obverse bearing a layer of dark green rayon overlaid by a machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 110 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), demonstrating extensive mothing to the wool base, a uniform-removed example in very fine condition.

2. A Heer Panzer Enlisted ranks eagle, constructed of black rayon, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered white Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 120 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), in unissued and extremely fine condition.

3. A Kriegsmarine Coastal Artillery eagle, constructed of green rayon, the obverse bearing a golden-yellow Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 125 mm (w) x 55 mm (h), the reverse bearing a wax paper liner consistent with previous display in a wartime photo album, with minor soiling visible to the obverse, in unissued and near extremely fine condition.

4. A Heer sports shirt emblem, constructed of white cotton, the obverse bearing an additional layer of white cotton with a black underlay, overlaid by a black machine-embroidered Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 27.5 cm (w) x 14.5 cm (h), demonstrating minor soiling throughout, in unissued and near extremely fine condition.
