Constructed of silver, the obverse consisting of an oval medallion with a scalloped edge, bearing a central raised Reichsnährstand insignia, situated above an inscription of “FÜR 40 JAHRE TREUE DIENSTE” (“FOR 40 YEARS OF FAITHFUL SERVICE”) and within raised oak leaves, in turn circumscribed by an inscription of “REICHSNÄHRSTAND LANDESBAUERNSCHAFT BAYERN” (“REICHSNÄHRSTAND AGRICULTURAL ASSOCIATION OF BAVARIA”), the reverse with a large integral hinge and horizontal pinback meeting an integral catch, stamped with a mark of “SILBER” (“SILVER”) and a content number of “900”, measuring 44.64 mm (w) x 51.54 mm (h), weighing 31.0 grams, weighing 31.0 grams, a rare decoration in extremely fine condition.
