Germany, Third Reich. A Pair of Luftwaffe Generalmajor Shoulder Boards

(Luftwaffe Generalmajor Schulterklappen). A matching set of uniform-removed sew-on style Luftwaffe Generalmajor shoulder boards, each constructed of white wool, with a cardstock core, and topped by a row of braided silver aluminum bullion wire piping interwoven with dual lengths of gold bullion wire piping, the reverse is showing the white wool underside, the one end where the boards were attached to the uniform are cut and shows the exposed core, included are two gilded pebbled screw-post buttons, marked “Extra Fein” on the reverse, the boards measuring 105 mm (w) x 40 mm (l), the buttons measuring 17 mm in diameter, a fine matching pair with signs of use, in overall very fine condition.
