Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Three Medals, Awards, and Badges

A mixed lot of three Third Reich German medals, awards, and badges, consisting of:

1. A Civil Service Faithful Service Medal for 25 Years. (Treudienst-Ehrenzeichen II. Stufe für 25 Jahre). Constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, on loop for suspension from a modern replacement ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms joined through the quadrants by a circular oak leaf wreath, the obverse bearing a central black enameled mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of “Für Treue Dienste” (For Faithful Service), unmarked, measuring 42.2 mm (w) x 42.2mm (l), weighing 21.37 grams, in near mint condition.

2. A War Merit Medal. (Kriegsverdienstmedaille). Instituted August 19th, 1940. Constructed of bronze, on a fixed loop and swivel ring for suspension from its correct replacement ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised Maltese Cross with pebbled arms and a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing an inscription of “Für Kriegsverdienst 1939” (For War Merit 1939), unmarked, measuring 32.1 mm in diameter, weighing 12.50 grams, in better than very fine condition.

3. A Styrian Homeland Association (Steirischer Heimatbund) membership badge, constructed of grey coloured and painted bakelite, consisting of a shield in the form of the Styrian coat of arms topped with a mobile swastika and circumscribed “Steirischer Heimatbund” in capital letters, the reverse with a vertical pinback, unmarked, measuring 31.2 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.
