(Verleihungsurkunden). A mixed lot of five award documents, with two featuring rare signatures, including:
1. An awardee list for the War Merit Cross I Class to members of 16. Panzer-Division, constructed of light brown wax paper with black ink, featuring the names, birthdates, hometowns, and ranks of 13 recipients, notably certified with the handwritten signature of then-Hauptmann (later Generalleutnant der Reserve) Hyazinth Graf Strachwitz (Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross, 25 August 1941; with Oak leaves, 13 November 1942; Swords, 28 March 1943; and Diamonds, 15 April 1944), measuring 21 cm (w) x 27 cm (h), accompanied by a period reproduced press photo depicting Graf Strachwitz receiving the Oak Leaves directly from AH, the reverse bearing a handwritten caption and Hoffmann studio mark, measuring 11.5 cm (w) x 8.5 cm (h), the list demonstrating minor material fatigue, a rare signature pairing in extremely fine condition.
2. An award document for a Sudetenland Medal with Prague Castle Bar, constructed of off-white paper stock with black ink, named to “OBERLEUTNANT ARWED VON PUTTKAMER” of 6. Batterie, Artillerie-Regiment 103, issued in Bamburg on 1 November 1939, certified by the signature of an unidentified Major and company commander, measuring 21 cm (w) x 15 cm (h), with minor soiling evident, in near extremely fine condition.
3. A second award document for a Sudetenland Medal, named to “GEFREITEN KARL-HEINZ BOTHMER” of 13. Kompanie, Infanterie-Regiment 76, dated 29 November 1939, certified by the handwritten signature of then-Oberst (later Generalmajor) Hans Gollnick (Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross, 21 November 1942; with Oak Leaves, 24 August 1943), dated 29 November 1939, measuring 21 cm (w) x 29.5 cm (h), demonstrating minor material fatigue, in near extremely fine condition.
4. A third award document for a Sudetenland Medal, constructed of off-white paper with black ink, named to “MAJOR KURT ZIEBE” of Heer (Army) General Administration, issued in Berlin and dated 5 August 1940, certified by the handwritten signature of General der Infanterie Friedrich Olbricht (Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross, 27 October 1939), later a participant in the 20 July Plot and confidant of Claus von Stauffenberg who was executed on 21 July 1944, measuring 20.5 cm 9w) x 15 cm (h), a rare signature in extremely fine condition.
5. An award document for a Civil Service 25 Year Faithful Service Decoration, constructed of off-white paper stock with black ink, named to “REICHSBAHNOBERINSPEKTOR HERMANN REPPERT” of Trier, issued in Berlin and dated 28 August 1942, measuring 21 cm (w) x 29.5 cm (h), certified by a facsimile signature of Otto Meissner, in extremely fine condition.
