(Medaillen). A lot of medals, including:

1. A War Merit Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms and a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing an inscription of “FÜR KRIEGSVERDIENST 1939” (“FOR WAR MERIT 1939”), unmarked, measuring 32.24 mm in diameter, weighing 13.0 grams, in near mint condition.

2. An Eastern Peoples Merit Decoration, Gold Grade II Class, constructed of gilded zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse consisting of a radiant starburst, overlaid by a central rosette surrounded by a circular laurel wreath, unmarked, measuring 40.32 mm (w) x 50.90 mm (h), weighing 15.4 grams, in extremely fine condition.

3. A Romanian Crusade Against Communism Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised cross overlaid by a hand clutching a sword, flanked by a date of “1941”, circumscribed by an inscription of CRUCIADA ÎMPOTRIVA COMUNISMULUI” (“CRUSADE AGAINST COMMUNISM”), the reverse bearing a raised female figure, circumscribed by an inscription of “ROMÂNIA RECUNOSCĂTOARE” (“ROMANIA IS GRATEFUL”), unmarked, measuring 31.71 mm in diameter, weighing 15.9 grams, in better than very fine condition.

4. A Civil Service 25-Year Faithful Service Award, constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms joined through the quadrants by a circular oak leaf wreath, the obverse bearing a central black enameled swastika, the reverse bearing a central inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE”), unmarked, measuring 42.18 mm (w) x 46.76 mm (h), weighing 20.9 grams, in near mint condition.
