Description
An Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918, with Award Document to Richard Rupp, c. 1936 (Ehrenkreuz des Weltkriegs 1914/1918). An iron cross paty constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, the obverse centre bears the dates “1914 1918” encompassed by a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon at the bottom, two upwards facing crossed swords lay in the quadrants between the arms, the reverse is plain and marked “G&S”, with loop for suspension on a red, black and white striped ribbon, measuring 37.55 mm (w) x 42.85 mm (h), very fine.
An Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918 Award Document, on cream-coloured paper, awarded to the postal worker Richard Rupp in Frankfurt on 31 March 1936. The document is numbered “Nr. R 4108 / 36”, stamped and signed. Presenting two folding creases, with minimal creasing. Measuring 211 mm (w) x 149 mm (h), in overall extremely fine condition.
A Marine Wound Badge Document, on cream coloured paper, awarded to the postal worker Richard Rupp in Frankfurt on 21 December 1936. The document stamped and signed. Presenting two folding creases, slight creases at edges, the reverse is taped in three places, measuring 213 mm (w) x 149 mm (h), very fine.
