(Etui für Ehrenzeichen Pionier der Arbeit). Instituted August 1940. (1940-1944 issue). An extremely rare presentation case for a NSDAP Pioneer of Labour Honour Badge, constructed of a wooden case with a faux red leather exterior, the interior with a padded white satin lid liner and intact hinge cover, with a depressed and slotted red velvet medal bed, opening with a functional magnetic metal spring catch with exterior stud release and a functional magnetic metal hinge, unmarked, measuring 106 mm (w) x 135 mm (l) x 22 mm (h), moderate material fatigue evident, in overall better than very fine condition.
Footnote: Awarded by the Ministry of Labour for exceptional contributions to German industry, this extremely rare decoration was bestowed a total of 19 times between 1940 and 1944.
