Germany, NSDAP. A Political Leader’s Belt and Buckle, by Friedrich Linden

An NSDAP Political Leader’s belt and buckle, the former constructed of brown leather, one end stitched into a loop to accommodate a gilded aluminum clip, the opposite end retaining a reverse leather tongue perforated with seven sets of dual eyelets for an adjustable fit, retaining two brown leather sliding loops, one with a metal D-ring, the opposite stamped with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “L2/441/39” for an unidentified but widely-documented manufacturer of leather goods for political and other uniforms, measuring 6 cm (w) x 95 cm (l), in extremely fine condition; the latter constructed of gilded aluminum, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, overlaid by an NSDAP-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a clip and roller with claws, marked with an RZM logo and maker code “M4/24” for Friedrich Linden, Lüdenscheid, measuring 55 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
