In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
The document consists of two parts, one page heavy cardstock each; the first page includes Bismarck’s birthday, April 1, 1815, as well as the date of the occasion, his 80th birthday in 1895; the inscription around his profile reads “I don’t have time anymore to be tired”; the line at the bottom reads “Us Germans fear God, but nothing else in the world!”. The second page dedicates the gift to the “co-founder of the New German Empire”, Bismarck. It is given by the united cities of the Duchy of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt. It is signed by the city councillors of each city, Rudolstadt, Frankenhausen, Stadtilm, Königsee, Blankenburg, Schlotheim, Leutenberg, and Teichel. Both pages measuring 342mm (w) x 492mm (h), with a few age spots, remaining near mint.
The document is accompanied by a velvet-covered heavy duty cardboard cover with cloth interior, obverse and reverse with embellishments in silvered bronze, measuring 393mm (w) x 540mm (h), obverse remains near very fine with almost all of the velvet gone and the silvering only preserved in a few places, the reverse remaining better than very fine with velvet and silvering largely intact.
