Collection includes: Red Eagle Order 4th Class certificate; appointment certificate to Rechnungsrat (accounting councillor) (both to Ludwig); a retirement certificate (to Franz).
The Red Eagle Order 4th Class award certificate is named to Postmeister (post master) Ludwig Peter Binkowski in Schroda (present day Środa Wielkopolska, western Poland). It is dated to Berlin on January 18, 1902. Measuring 211 mm (w) x 330 mm (h), presenting two folding creases, light creasing of the edges, and two punched holes, remains better than very fine.
The appointment certificate to Rechnungsrat to Ludwig Peter Binkowski is dated to Berlin on February 1, 1909. The certificate is signed in black ink by Emperor Wilhelm II. Measuring 209 mm (w) x 328 mm (h), presenting light creasing and two punched holes, remains extremely fine.
The retirement certificate is named to Oberamtsrichter (senior circuit judge) Franz Binkowski It is dated to Berchtesgaden on January 6, 1941 and carries a facsimile signature of A.H. Measuring 255 mm (w) x 355 mm (h), presenting multiple folding creases, some creasing and fraying of the edges, and two punched holes, remains fine.
