In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
(Heer Feldbluse M44 für Mannschaften der Nachrichtentruppe). An extremely well-preserved Heer M44 Signals Enlisted personnel field tunic, constructed of field-grey wool. It features a turned-down collar which is flanked on each side by Litzen constructed of grey rayon, bearing slate-grey machine-embroidered bars, and measuring 25 mm (w) x 70 mm (l). The shoulders are topped by straps which are constructed of field-grey wool with grey rayon underlays, trimmed with lemon-yellow piping, and bear reverse straps perforated with reinforced buttonholes. Each measuring 45 mm (w) x 110 mm (l), the straps are secured in place with an integral loop at the outer edge and with a pebbled zink button on the inner edge. A short vertical slit is set into the cuff of each sleeve and fastens closed with a hidden bakelite button meeting two buttonholes for an adjustable fit. Two non-pleated pockets are set into the breast flaps, both closing with pebbled zink buttons meeting reinforced buttonholes. Stitched onto the right breast just above the pocket is an insignia consisting of a field-grey triangular backer overlaid by a machine-embroidered silver-grey Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, measuring 110 mm (w) x 50 mm (h) overall. A band of identical field-grey wool is embroidered across the waist. The tunic closes with six pebbled zink buttons on the right flap meeting an equal number of reinforced buttonholes on the left flap. Two grey rayon pockets are set into the interior of the breasts, with the right side stamped with a black ink mark reading “M. 44”, above size dimensions. Otherwise unmarked, the tunic measures approximately 48 cm across the shoulders, with an arm length of 52 cm, and an overall body length of 58 cm. Demonstrating no notable damage or wear, this superb late-war tunic remains in an extremely fine condition.
