Germany, Heer. A Pair of Marksmanship Lanyards

(Heer Schützenschnur). A pair of Heer Marksmanship Lanyards, including:

1. A Grade 2 Lanyard, constructed of aluminum, the obverse consisting of a pebbled shield bearing a raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, affixed with three reverse attachment prongs to a silver aluminum wire lanyard which completes at each end in a loop for uniform attachment, with a single acorn emanating from the lower end, both unmarked, the shield measuring 30.00 mm (w) x 38.52 mm (h), the lanyard measuring 42 cm in length, in extremely fine condition.

2. A Grade 5 Lanyard, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, surrounding a central pebbled shield overlaid by a pair of crossed swords, affixed with two reverse attachment prongs to a silver aluminum wire lanyard which completes at each end in a loop for uniform attachment, both unmarked, the shield measuring 39.02 mm (w) x 55.02 mm (h), the lanyard measuring 43 cm in length, one prong has broken off of the lanyard and is embedded in the wire base while the shield demonstrates total loss of its original silver finish, in very fine condition.
