(Deutsches Rotes Kreuz Abzeichen und Auszeichnungen). A mixed lot of eight Deutsches Rotes Kreuz (German Red Cross/DRK) badges and decorations, including:
1. A Sister’s Cross, first model, constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension from a silver chain with functioning clasp, consisting of a narrow Cross Pattée, the obverse bearing a central white enameled disc overlaid by a red Geneva Cross, the cross unmarked and the chain stamped with a silver content number of “835”, measuring 50 mm (w) x 54 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
2. A DRK Schwesternschaft (Nurse’s) Badge, constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, stamped with a mark of “KARLSRUHE” and with an issue number of “1003”, measuring 41 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
3. Two DRK Schülerin (Trainee) badges, each constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels and with horizontal pinbacks, the reverse of each with a horizontal pinback, each stamped “KARLSRUHE” and one with an issue number of “441” and the other with an issue number of “466”, both maker marked “A. STUBBE, BERLIN” and measuring 31 mm in diameter, in overall extremely fine condition.
4. A DRK Helferin (Assistant’s) badge, constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the reverse maker marked with the logo of Hermann Aurich, Dresden, measuring 30 mm in diameter, with some flecking of enamels evident, in extremely fine condition.
5. A DRK supporter’s badge constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 32 mm in diameter, with some flecking of enamels evident, in extremely fine condition.
6. A DRK official’s visor cap badge, constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the reverse retaining both attachment prongs, the reverse maker marked with the logo of Ernst L. Müller, Pforzheim, measuring 20 mm (w) x 28 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
7. A DRK supporter’s badge, constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, vertical pinback, unmarked, measuring 16 mm (w) x 22 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
