Description

(Suomen Leijonan suurristi). An Order Of The Lion, Civil Division, I Class Knight's Cross. Instituted in 1942. In silver gilt with red and white enamels, gilt lion and centrepiece ring, well marked on ring including National crown, marked "AT" and "H081", measuring 40.9 mm (w) x 45.4 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, on its original ribbon, the ribbon is in used state and has a safety pin in the back, the enamels are intact , extremely fine. In its original presentation case marked "A. Tillander", the case has some scuff otherwise fine.
