1.Police Exemplary Service Medal, in silver, obverse shows the Scales of Justice inscribed with ‘EXEMPLARY SERVICE. SERVICES DISTINGUÉS’, reverse shows the Royal Cipher, name of the recipient is engraved on the lower rim, includes bar featuring a maple leaf, 49.8 mm (h) x 35.3 mm (w), extremely fine condition. Housed in original blue case, extremely fine condition.

Footnote: The Police Exemplary Service Medal was instituted on 12 August, 1983 to recognize Canadian police officers who have served in an exemplary manner, displaying good conduct, efficiency, and dedication to their service for a minimum of twenty years. A bar featuring a maple leaf is awarded to recognize subsequent service periods of 10 years. Serge Demarbre served for over 32 years.
