Cambodia, French Protectorate. An Order of Cambodia, Knight, c.1930, by Boullanger

(Ordre royal du Cambodge. គ្រឿងឥស្សរិយយសព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា). Instituted on February 8, 1864. A French issued decoration, in silver, an eight-point oval shaped star with clusters of five faceted ray, the obverse medallion presents gilded Cambodian coat of arms on a deep blue enamelled background, encircled by a red enamelled ring, the reverse is plain, the badge is surmounted by a Cambodian crown, measures 49.9 mm (w) x 69.4 mm (h – inclusive of crown suspension), weighs 27.17 grams, reverse with a central medallion maker marked by “Boullanger” of Paris, France, worn on original French issue white and yellow ribbon, 12 o’clock ray slightly bent, in extremely fine condition.
