A medal bar, swing mounted, a horizontal pin on the reverse, measures 146 mm (w), consisting of five decorations:
A Bravery Medal, I Class (Large Version), Karl I variant (1917-1918), consisting of a round medal constructed of silver gilt, suspended from its period original tri-fold ribbon, the obverse with a rightward-facing effigy of Karl I circumscribed by his name and title, the reverse inscribed “Fortitudini” (Fortitude) within a laurel wreath with banners at the base, unmarked, measuring 40.9 mm in diameter, notable gilt wear and several contact marks, in very fine condition.
A Bravery Medal, II Class (Small Version), Karl I variant (1917-1918), consisting of a round medal constructed of silver war material, suspended from its period original tri-fold ribbon with a repetition clasp, the obverse with a rightward-facing effigy of Karl I circumscribed by his name and title, the reverse inscribed “Fortitudini” (Fortitude) within a laurel wreath with banners at the base, unmarked, measuring 31.1 mm in diameter, extremely dark patina, in very fine condition.
A Karl Troop Cross, in war materials, a cross with a wreath between the exterior arms, measures 29.6 mm (w) x 33.4 mm (h), worn on original ribbon which demonstrates scuffing and wear, dark patina, light wear, very fine.
A Wound Medal, in war material, featuring Karl I, featuring one stripe denoting one wound, very dark patina, very fine.
An Honour Cross of the World War 1914/18 with Swords, in bronzed iron, a straight armed cross pattée with crossed swords between the arms, the centre obverse displays a laurel wreath encircling the dates 1914 1918, measuring 37.4 mm (w) x 41.3 mm (h), and in very fine condition.
