A Military Long Service Decoration for 25 Years, a bronze gilt Cross Pattée with dimpled edges, the obverse with a double-headed single-crowned silver eagle bearing the Austro-Hungarian crest on its chest, the reverse plain with center engraved "DIEKAMERADEN DES REGIMENTS 14 1906", on a fixed loop and double swivel rings for suspension from a period original tri-fold ribbon, measures 33.1 mm (w) x 36.8 mm (h), weighs 16.7 grams including ribbon, gilt wear on arms, in very fine condition. Infanterieregiment Ernst Ludwig Großherzog von Hessen und bei Rhein Nr.14 was stationed in Linz.
