(Harp Madalyası). Constructed of silver gilt with enamels, consisting of a five-pointed star completing in ball finials, the obverse with red enameled arms, overlaid by a raised and silvered crescent, surrounding a silvered Tughra of Sultan Mehmed V above an Islamic calendar date of 1333 (AD 1915), the reverse with multiple visible rivets securing the obverse fixtures in place, with a block hinge and vertical pinback meeting a rounded catch, measuring 53.08 mm (w) x 52.60 mm (h), weighs 18.10 grams, unmarked but of typical Godet manufacture, enamels intact, light tarnish to silver and areas of gilt loss, remains in extremely fine condition.
Contained in the original case of issue, a red leather exterior with crescent moon impression on the lid, the interior medal bed is in dark red velvet, with a silk red lid, measures 83 mm (w) x 83 mm (h) x 26 mm (d), functional clasp and hinge, light wear to edges, in extremely fine condition.
