(Ordensschnalle). A medal bar for a Franco-Prussian War combatant featuring four decorations, including:

1. A Red Eagle Order Silver Medal, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised Cross Pattée overlaid by a central Prussian imperial eagle, the reverse bearing a raised monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm I, topped by a crown and loop, unmarked, measuring 25.11 mm (w) x 37.95 mm (h), demonstrating minor tarnishing, in near extremely fine condition.

2. A Prussian General Honour Decoration, II Class, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a wreathed inscription of “VERDIENST UM DEN STAAT”, the reverse bearing a raised monogram of King Friedrich Wilhelm III, unmarked, measuring 39.19 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.

3. A Commemorative Medal for the War of 1870/71, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon pinned with six campaign clasps, including “GRAVELOTTE-ST. PRIVAT”, “METZ”, “ORLÉANS”, “BEAUNE-LA-ROLANDE”, “BEAUGENCY-CRAVANT”, and “LE MANS”, the medal measuring 28.63 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.

4. A Kaiser Wilhelm I Centenary Medal, constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 39.56 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.
