Frunze Military Academy badge, constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a white enameled diamond bearing a red enameled five-pointed star, in turn defaced by a gilt Soviet coat of arms, situated above a silvered banner bearing an inscription of “ВА ИМ. М.В. ФРУНЗЕ”, the reverse with a threaded lug retaining an original backplate, the latter maker marked for the Leningrad Mint, measuring 26 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
2. A Gagarin Air Force Academy badge, constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a white enameled diamond bearing a red enameled five-pointed star, in turn defaced by a gilt Soviet coat of arms, situated above a silvered banner bearing an inscription of “ВВА ИМ ГАГАРИНА”, the reverse with a threaded lug retaining an original backplate, unmarked, measuring 26 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), demonstrating some fine cracking to the enamels, in extremely fine condition.
3. A Budyonny MIlitary Academy badge, constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a white enameled diamond bearing a red enameled five-pointed star, in turn defaced by a gilt Soviet coat of arms, situated above a silvered banner bearing an inscription of “ВАЦ ИМ БУДЕННОГО”, the reverse with a threaded lug retaining a backplate marked “СОЛО-СПОРТ”, measuring 26 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
