Germany, NSDAP. A 1943 Holiday Greeting from the Führer on Official Stationery

Constructed of off-white card stock, the obverse bearing a gilt embossed letterhead of the Führer at the upper right corner, with a central inscription of “BERLIN” executed in gilt lettering and flanked by a typewritten date of “IM JANUAR 1943”, featuring an additional typewritten inscription of “IHRE GLÜCKWÜNSCHE ZUM WEIHNACHTSFEST UND ZUM NEUEN JAHRE HABEN MICH SEHR ERFREUT. ICH ERWIDERE IHRE WÜNSCHE MIT HERZLICHEN DANK.” (“YOUR CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEARS GREETINGS DELIGHTED ME. I RETURN THEM WITH HEARTFELT THANKS.”), certified by the Führer’s facsimile signature, measuring 19 cm (w) x 12 cm (h), retrieved from a mass-produced collection of acknowledgements for holiday greetings sent to the Führer, demonstrating minor staining, in near extremely fine condition.
