A very well-preserved edition of “The Canadian Medal Rolls: Distinguished Flying Medal (1939-1945), by Martin Ashton. The book consists of a white card stock binding, with the exterior title pages bearing a facsimile image of the award, circumscribed by title and author. The reverse of the exterior features a brief description of the book’s purpose, with a point-form list of content and a short review. The interior content consists of 99 white paper pages featuring lists of award recipients, with transcriptions of actions where applicable. It also features eight black-and-white photographs of recipients. The book was published in 1984 by The Charlton Press of Toronto, Ontario. It measures 136 mm (w) x 214 mm (h). Minor, age-appropriate discolouration is evident, but the book is in an overall near extremely fine condition.
