Mounted to a suspension with swing bar pinback, as worn by the veteran, original ribbons, both ribbon with safety pin attachments, near extremely fine. Accompanied by his Discharge Certificate (dated May 12, 1943 at Toronto, Ontario, printed in black ink on a moisture-resistant white paper stock, measuring 202 mm (w) x 224 mm (h), fold marks, tattered edges); a Department of Labour, National Selective Service Mobilization Section, Certificate of Medical Examination (issued April 9, 1943, numbered "B 44251", stating that Campbell had been medically re-examined by the Medical Revision Board at Sault Ste. Marie on July 14, 1943, printed in black ink on a watermarked yellow paper stock, measuring 214 mm (w) x 170 mm (h), fold marks); a Department of Veterans Affairs Envelope (addressed to "Mr. Clarence Campbell, / Hilton Beach, St. Joe's Island, Ont.", postmarked December 22, 1948 at North Bay, Ontario, with a four cent stamp); a handwritten letter enclosed in a envelope, the latter addressed to "Mrs Clarance Campbell / Hilton Beach / St/ Joe's Island / Ontario", postmarked October 21, 1953 at Thessalon, Ontario, with a four cent stamp); a General Service Badge (in silvered bronze with red and blue enamels, numbered "012546" on the reverse, measuring 14.5 mm (w) x 22 mm (h), button hole attachment, chipping evident in the enamels, along with silvering wear); a British Empire Service League Badge (in silvered bronze with red, white and blue enamels, maker marked "J.R. He was discharged as being "unable to meet the required military physical standards" on May 12, 1948, at No. 2 District Depot in Toronto, Ontario, credited with having served in Canada only. Campbell is credited with having received a Certificate of Service in the Second Great European War.
