(Schulterklappen für einen Generalmajor). A matching set of Bavarian Generalmajor (Major General) shoulder boards issued for wear on a greatcoat, each constructed of a smooth red wool base with a card stock core reinforced with a magnetic metal wire frame, topped by a single band of silver aluminum wire piping interspersed with blue threaded chevrons, in turn flanked on each side by lengths of striking gold bullion wire piping, and bearing reverse dark blue wool straps with reinforced buttonholes, both unmarked and measuring 60 mm (w) x 152 mm (l), each demonstrating minor material fatigue to the reverse of the base in addition to slight fatigue of the wire piping, a scarce set in overall extremely fine condition.
