Canada; Cap Badge (die-stamped copper, unmarked, 39 mm x 42 mm, intact lugs and pin); and two Collar Tabs (one is die-stamped bronze gilt and is marked "MADE IN ENGLAND" on the reverse, the other is die-stamped copper and is unmarked, 32.5 mm x 33.8 mm each). Extremely fine.
Footnote: The London and Oxford Fusiliers (3rd Battalion, The Royal Canadian Regiment) originated in London, Ontario as the 7th Battalion Infantry, "Prince Arthur's Own" on April 27, 1866. It was re-designated as the 7th Battalion Infantry on May 1, 1866, re-designated as the 7th Battalion "London Light Infantry" on February 15, 1867, re-designated as the 7th Battalion "Fusiliers" on January 16, 1880, re-designated as the 7th Regiment "Fusiliers" on May 8, 1900 and re-designated as The Western Ontario Regiment on March 29, 1920.[C:17]
