In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
A large black bakelite deck clock, featuring arabic numbers with a secondary seconds dial below the 12, the dial denoting MARK I. DECK CLOCK U.S. NAVY 1943 and maker CHELSEA below the 6 numeral, the numbers and dots associated and hands exhibit a slight glow under blacklight (likely radium painted) for luminescence at night. The dial is covered by the original glass. The reverse of the clock box presents the STOP, SET, WIND and REG functions.
In addition to the body of the clock there are dual bases in bakelite with a compressed fabric (rubber or leather) cushion between to counteract vibrations. The clock connects to the base via a brass slotted hinge and a screw. The reverse is marked with a small GE maker's mark.
The clock and base measure 21.8 cm in diameter x 11.5 cm in height, missing winding key (therefore untested), light wear to exterior bakelite and minor wear throughout, glass cover intact, remains in near extremely fine condition.
