Prussia, Kingdom. A Monogram Pin in Gold, with Case, by J. Godet & Sohn

Constructed of 14K Gold, consisting of a monogram in the form of a stylized “F” topped by a crown, with both the letter and crown inset with cut gems, affixed to a rifled needle, the reverse bearing a Gold content mark of “585” (14K), measuring 8.18 mm (w) x 19.42 mm (h), the needle measuring 69.77 mm in length, weighing 2.7 grams, accompanied by its original presentation case, constructed of pressed card stock with a dark blue leatherette exterior liner, the lid bearing a gilt crown, the interior with a padded white satin lid liner and intact hinge cover, the former marked marked “J. GODET & SOHN, KGL. HOFJUWELIER, BERLIN W.”, with a fitted white velvet bed, closing with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, measuring 30 mm (w) x 95 mm (l) x 20 mm (h), a stunning example issued to a courtier in extremely fine condition.
