In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

A photo album featuring over 25 pages of black and white photos portraying students, plane parts, weapons parts/classes, aerial postcards, class photos, and exterior school photos, all adhered to black construction paper, multiple pages are loose from the binding, which is in the form of black string through the riveted front and back cover. The first page is inscribed “No. 4 SCHOOL OF MILITARY AERONAUTICS. Xmas 1917 With Best Wishes from the C.I”. The album measures 280 mm (w) x 180 mm (h) x 40 mm (d), light wear, multiple loose pages, wear to edges of pages, delicate binding. Full of unique Canadian history from the First War, in very fine condition.
Footnote: RFC No. 4 School of Military Aeronautics (Toronto) — Established in 1917 at the University of Toronto, the Royal Flying Corps No. 4 School of Military Aeronautics provided ground instruction to prospective aircrew during the First World War. The school focused on theoretical training—such as aerodynamics, engines, navigation, and military discipline—before cadets proceeded to flying training at nearby aerodromes in Canada or overseas. It formed part of Canada’s significant contribution to the RFC training system, which produced thousands of pilots and observers for service on the Western Front.
