Germany, Heer. An Unused Wartime Photo Album

(Heer Fotoalbum). An unused wartime Heer photo album, constructed of a card stock binding with a faux brown leather exterior liner, the spine perforated with four eyelets reinforced with brown painted magnetic metal grommets, in turn looped with a drawstring which maintains the album’s structural integrity, the cover bearing a silvered Heer-issue Stahlhelm at the upper left corner and a silvered inscription of “AUS MEINER DIENSTZEIT” (“FROM MY SERVICE TIME”) at the lower right corner, the interior content consisting of 18 black card stock pages separated by wax paper dividers to protect the images, unmarked, measuring 29.5 cm (w) x 20 cm (h), demonstrating minor material fatigue, a superb untouched example intended for the addition of the owner’s private wartime images in extremely fine condition.
