Yugoslavia, Kingdom. An Order of the Crown, First Class Star, c.1938

(Orden Jugoslovenske Krune). Instituted April 5th, 1930. Consisting of a four-pointed multi-rayed silver star with an applique mounted to the obverse, the applique consisting of a white enameled cross with a green enameled laurel wreath between the arms of the cross, with a central white enameled medallion bearing a Yugoslav Royal Crown consisting of multi-coloured enamels, the reverse is plain, with two rivets attaching the applique to the cross, with a functional vertical pinback and dual downward-sloping stabilizer bars for secure fastening to an uniform, unmarked, measuring 87.5 mm (w) x 87.1 mm (l), with contact marks on the enamels along with a light to moderate chip evident on the white enamels of the bottom arm, in near very fine condition.
