An Order of Francisco de Miranda, in silver gilt, a Commander consisting of a multirayed eight-armed cross with bifurcated ends, joined by a gilt band in each quadrant, obverse centre superposing by the bust of the national hero Francisco de Miranda facing left, surrounded by an enamelled red border inscribed his name, the reverse exhibiting the Venezuelan coat of arms encircling by an ornament edge, measuring 41.3 mm (w) x 59.0 mm (h), accompanied by an original neck ribbon, very fine.
A Jorge Chavez Dartnell Medal of Merit, bronze, measures 34.1 mm (w) x 45.5 mm (h), original ribbon, dark patina, very fine.
A Mexican Legion of Honour, gilt bronze and polychrome enamel medal, the obverse centre constructed of blue enamel bearing the gilt head and shoulders of the warrior king Cuauhtemoc in a feathered headdress within a red enamel ring inscribed in gilt “LEGION DE HONOR” (LEGION OF HONOR) with gilt laurel leaves below, imposed on a red enamel four-armed cross with bifurcated ends, gilt suns between the ends, gilt and orange yellow points between the arms, all imposed on a deep blue enamel plaque with serrated edges, the reverse is plain with an imposed medallion in the centre bearing the inscription “PORDECRETO PRESIDENCIAL DEL 3 DE MAYO DE 1951” (BY PRESIDENTIAL DECREE OF 3 MAY 1951), with integral gilt Mexican eagle and laurel suspension, measuring 51.0 mm (w) x 67.9 mm (h), on a light blue and yellow striped ribbon with gilt top bar decorated with laurel leaves and mounted for wear, very fine.
Accompanied by a case in burgundy pleather exterior, red velvet interior base with elastic band for medal security, measures 75 mm (w) x 146 mm (l) x 29 mm (d), lid sits off center on lid, no latch, fraying, near very fine.
