In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
This fine quality and wartime cap is fabricated from a dark green wool in the traditional design with raised peak. The front is adorned with a cap badge measuring 40.5 mm in diameter and composed of two pieces, in gilt metal affixed to a circular brass base, featuring the great seal of the United States insignia featuring a bald eagle with its wings outstretched and holding a bundle of 13 arrows in its left talon and an olive branch in its right talon, the eagle clutching a scroll with the Latin motto "E pluribus unum" (Out of Many, One), with a glory of 13 mullets (stars) above. The chocolate brown leather visor has a chocolate brown simulated patent leather strap resting along the top edge, with two length adjustment sliders, held in position via brass buttons on the sides, each of which bears the great seal of the United States. Two dark green finished metal grommets placed on both sides for ventilation. The underside of the visor has a relatively smooth finish in the leather, the visor itself very stiff. The 45 mm wide leather sweatband is fabricated from a pecan brown leather, with the two ends stitched together at the rear, incorporating a "6 3/4" size label overlying the seam, along with a manufacturer's label inscribed "CONTENTS / 100% WOOL / MID CITY UNIFORM CAP CO. / CHICAGO" nearby. The sidewalls and dome are lined in an orangy-yellow nylon, the dome covered with an orange semi-transparent moisture-resistant fabric shield, covering a yellow nylon base that is screen-printed in navy blue with a diamond-shaped manufacturer's label inscribed "The Flyweight", the cap measuring 230 mm in width x 260 mm in length x 130 mm in height. It exhibits light wear and soiling on exterior, with only a few imperfections in the fabric, the interior with crazing and tearing present in the moisture-resistant shield. As worn.
