United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Lieutenant's Blouse: exterior in black wool, with a small pocket on the left breast and a large one at the waist on both sides, the front with a vertical row of three silvered buttons and reinforced button holes on the right side, facing an equal number of buttons and reinforced button holes on the left side, each of the buttons illustrating the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary insignia and maker marked "WATERBURY CO." on their reverses, each of the sleeves adorned with a United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Sleeve Device in rolled silvered copper, with both shields resting upon a rectangular black wool patch, below each shield are two thin rows of thin stripes in fine silvered bullion wire designating the rank of Lieutenant, the inside and sleeves are lined in greenish-black nylon, with pockets on both breasts, the right breast pocket with the embroidered initials "J F D" and an embroidered tailor's label inscribed "Redman's Military Tailors Houston, Texas", with a black cotton strap in the collar sewn in place, designed to hang the blouse upon a hook, measuring 470 mm across the shoulders and 770 mm in length overall, without flaws in the wool but with slight discoloration.
