Marine Corps China Service Medal (in bronze, measuring 32.5 mm in diameter, original ribbon with brooch pinback); American Defense Service Medal (in bronze, measuring 32 mm in diameter, original ribbon with brooch pinback); and American Campaign Medal (in bronze, measuring 31.8 mm in diameter, original ribbon with brooch pinback). Ranging from near very fine to extremely fine.
Footnote: The China Service Medal was a service medal awarded to U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard personnel. The medal was instituted by Navy Department General Order No. 176 on 1 July 1942. The medal recognized service in and around China before and after the Second World War. The American Defense Service Medal was a military award of the United States Armed Forces, established by Executive Order 8808, by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, on June 28, 1941. The medal was intended to recognize those military service members who had served on active duty between September 8, 1939 and December 7, 1941. The American Campaign Medal is a military award of the United States Armed Forces which was first created on November 6, 1942 by Executive Order 9265 issued by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. The medal was intended to recognize those military members who had performed military service in the American Theater of Operations during the Second World War.
