In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

This is a very well-preserved, revised edition of “The American Sword 1775-1945: A Survey of the Swords Worn by the Uniform Forces of the United States from the Revolution to the Close of World War II”, by Harold Leslie Peterson. It is constructed of a heavy card stock binding and retains its original paper stock dust jacket, with the exterior cover bearing an author and title circumscribing a seal of the United States. The interior content consists of 286 white paper pages featuring an in-depth history and study of edged weapons employed by the armed services of the United States from the beginning of the American Revolution until the end of the Second World War. It is followed by a 57-page supplemental book titled “American Silver Mounted Swords”, encompassing a short study of swords with silver hilts and fixtures. Both volumes are supplemented by an array of black-and-white photographs. It was published in 1980 by Ray Riling Arms Books Company. The book measures 160 mm (w) x 240 mm (h).
