In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Includes:
1. seven Advanced Section Patches: most in two-tone blue and red, one with white, in felt and/or embroidery, one with a brown cotton backer.
2. Intermediate Section Patch: incorporating five pieces of felt, on a browning-green wool base. Accompanied by an envelope, the masthead stating "War Department", with "Advance Section insignia" handwritten in black ink, with the right end torn off. Fine to near extremely fine.
Footnote: The Services of Supply (S.O.S.) was the support chain of the American Expeditionary Forces in France, England, Italy and the Netherlands during the First World War. (i) The Advance Section was headquartered at Neufchâteau, France, and charged with distributing supplies to the zone of operations. After U.S. units entered combat, depots in the Advance Section made up railroad trains which moved the supplies to division railheads; from there on, supplies were the responsibility of the divisions. The Advance Section area included the French Departments of Nord, Pas-de-Calais, Somme, Oise, Aisne, Ardennes, Marne, Aube, Meurthe-et-Moselle, Meuse, Haute-Marne, Cote d'Or, Vosges, Haute-Saône, and Doubs and the Territoire de Belfort. (ii) The Intermediate Section was headquartered at Nevers, France, its territory covering all of France not included in the Advance Section or in any of the base sections. This section stored and classified supplies.
