A grey-scale protograph on modern printer paper of Brigitte Bardot in Pablo Picasso’s studio, visible behind her are some of Picasso’s paintings, notably his work called “Woman in the Workshop”, signed by Brigitte Bardot along the bottom in black permanent marker, with a small decal on the bottom right corner from Becket's Authentication Services, bearing the certificate number “BC998866”, measuring 285 mm (w) x 198 mm (l), with crisp edges and tips, and without staining or pitting of any kinds, in overall mint condition.
Footnote: Pablo Ruiz Picasso (October 25th, 1881 - April 8th, 1973) ws a Spanish painter, sculptor, paintmaker, ceramicist, and theater designer, best known for co-founding the Cubist movement, the invention of constructed sculpture, and the co-invention of collage. Brigitte Anne-Marie Bardot (born September 28th, 1934) is a French animal rights activist and former actress, famous for portraying sexually emancipated characters, she was one of the best known sex symbols of the 1950s to 1970s. The photograph of Brigitte was originally taken at the 1956 Cannes Film Festival, where she first met Pablo Picasso, whom she greatly admired. She asked to be painted by him and was disappointed when he refused.
