Air Medal (in bronze, engraved "MICHAEL D. INGLETT" on the reverse, measuring 42.5 mm (w) x 54.2 mm (h) inclusive of its integral suspension, original ribbon with brooch pinback, accompanied by its 36 mm (w) x 10 mm (h) ribbon bar and its 17.7 mm (w) x 4.3 mm (h) enameled ribbon bar, in its hardshelled case of issue); and Army Commendation Medal (in bronze, engraved "MICHAEL INGLETT" on the reverse, measuring 35.7 mm (w) x 40.5 mm (h), original ribbon with brooch pinback, accompanied by its 36.3 mm (w) x 10 mm (h) ribbon bar and its 17 mm (w) x 3.7 mm (h) enameled ribbon bar, in its plastic case of issue). Scattered gilt wear on both medals, near extremely fine.
Footnote: Michael D. Inglett was born on September 6, 1951, Service and Serial Number 561-84-7400. He began service as a Private with the United States Army on November 19, 1968, at the age of 17 and was released on July 25, 1973 after fifty-six months service in the Army. Inglett died on June 7, 1992, at the age of 40 and was interred on June 15th. He is buried in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, Riverside County, California, Plot: Section 32, Site 234.
