H.S. Kilbourne. No. 353." on the reverse, measuring 38.3 mm (w) x 46.8 mm (h), original ribbon with brooch pinback); Spanish-American War 5th Corps 1st Division Badge (in silver gilt with red, white and blue enamels, maker marked "B.B&B" (Bailey, Banks & Biddle, Philadelphia) and marked "SILVER" on the reverse, measuring 35 mm (w) x 33.7 mm (h), horizontal pinback, original ribbon with brooch pinback, intact enamels); Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) Membership Badge (in bronze gilt, number impressed "F26441" on the edge of the star point at 4 o'clock, measuring 46 mm (w) x 43.8 mm (h), the ribbon having separated from the medal but remains attached to its 39.3 mm (w) x 20.8 mm (h) eagle and crossed cannons over ten cannonballs suspension with pinback, marked "PAT. All eleven items are enclosed within a presentation case with a padded gray cloth fabric exterior, the interior lined in purple velvet and incorporating six medal pockets, three on either side of the spine, the pockets in purple satin, one of the pockets maker marked "BAILEY, BANKS & BIDDLE COMPANY PHILADELPHIA" in gold-colored ink, with recessed slotted areas housing the Lapel Badges and Rosettes along the open edge on either side, dual-hinged, sliding and locking latch closure, measuring 160 mm in width x 140 mm in length x 47 mm in depth, soiled on the exterior, wear evident on the purple satin on the pockets and where it overlays the hinged area on the interior, case fine.
