A note to the Mayor of Forest signed by George H.W. Bush. A page of paper from the Vice President’s office, including the US Presidential seal on the top left corner, dated March 29, 1982. It is addressed to Timothy Curtain, Mayor of Forest, Ohio, USA, and contains a note thanking him for making George H.W. Bush an honorary citizen of Forest. Signed by George H.W. Bush in blue ink, measuring 229 mm (w) x 179 mm (l), with crisp edges, in mint condition. 

A heavyweight paper calling card with an embossed golden presidential seal in the centre on the top, reading “Dan Quayle - 44th Vice President of the United States” in black ink directly below, and signed by himself in blue ink, measuring 140 mm (w) x 108 mm (h), with crisp edges, in mint condition. 

Footnote: George Herbert Walker Bush  (June 12th, 1924 - November 30th, 2018) was an American politician, diplomat, and businessman who served as the 41st president of the United states from 1989 to 1993. He was a member of the Republican Party, and also served as the 43 vice president from 1981 to 1989 under Ronal Reagan.

Danforth “Dan” Quayle (born February 4th, 1947) is an American retired politician who served as the 44th vice president of the United States from 1989 to 1993 under President H. W. Bush. As a member of the Republican Party, he represented Indiana in the US House of Representatives from 1977 to 1981 and in the US Senate from 1981 to 1989.
