Footnote: Norman Ralph Landry was born on September 29, 1925. He served with the United States Navy during the Second World War and was awarded the American Campaign Medal, the European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign with Bronze Campaign Star and the World War II Victory Medal. He is acknowledged in his paperwork as having been awarded the Bronze Star and having served in the Korean War, earning him the Korean Service Medal, neither of which are included with this group, as they have been "pulled". Landry later joined the United States Coast Guard (057 32 700) where he would serve in the rank of Chief Petty Officer from October 9, 1957 to December 31, 1968. He died in June 1970 at the age of 44.
